Often dubbed one of the country's most famous and popular beaches, it is located in the eponymous Haeundae District. The beach is open year-round, and various festivals are held there throughout the year. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5 kilometers long, over a 30- to 50-meter wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making it perfect for swimming. People flock to Haeundae Beach every summer. All kinds of accommodations from luxury hotels to private guesthouses have developed in the area around the beach, making this the perfect summer vacation spot. Haeundae Beach is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. Other facilities in the area include Dongbaekseom Island, Busan Aquarium, a yachting dock, BEXCO, driving courses and more. 2. 달맞이길 / Dalmaji-gil Road 달맞이길은 해운대 해수욕장을 지나 송정 해수욕장으로 향하는 길목(와우산 중턱)에 위치하는 벚나무와 송림이 울창하게 들어찬 호젓한 오솔길로서, 15번 이상 굽어진다고 하여 ''15곡도(曲道)''라고도 하며 8km에 달하는 드라이브 코스를 형성하고 있다. 이곳에서는 특히, 정월 대보름날에 달빛과 어우러진 바다의 정취를 마음껏 즐길 수 있다. 또한 길목 중간 부분(정상)에는 달맞이동산이 조성되어 있다. The park also has a sky capsule, a four person capsule, that rides 7-10 meters above ground. 4.동백섬 / Dongbaekseom Island 남해안에는 동백꽃이 아름다운 ‘동백섬’이라 불리는 섬이 많은데, 그 중 해운대 동백섬이 가장 잘 알려져 있다. 원래는 해운대 백사장 끝자락에 있는 섬이었는데 육지에서 흘러내려온 모래가 쌓이면서 육지와 연결되어 있다. 동백섬 중앙 해발 57m 정상에는 최치원의 동상과 시비가 있으며, 동쪽 해안에는 최치원이 새겼다고 전해지는 ‘해운대(海雲臺) 석각’이 있다. 섬의 남단에는 2005년 APEC 정상회의가 열렸던 누리마리하우스가 있다. 전국에서 가장 잘 알려져 있으며 많은 관광객이 찾는 해운대 해수욕장과 함께 아름다운 바다풍경을 만들고 있다. Dongbaekseom Island (Island of Camellias) is an island located off one end of Busan's famous Haeundae Beach. Although the years of sedimentation have connected the island to the mainland, Dongbaekseom was originally an island and is still referred to as one. Dongbaekseom Island is easy to navigate thanks to the walking path that is built around it. The island has several attractions, including the monument inscribed with a poem of scholar Choi Chi-won, the mermaid statue based on the legend of Princess Hwagok, and the Nurimaru APEC House. It also offers fantastic views of the Busan shoreline towards Mipo, Dalmaji Hill, Gwangangdaegyo Bridge, and Oryukdo Island. Finally had the chance to spend 4 days in Busan! So I'm summarising my 4-day itinerary of cafe hopping, eating and sightseeing into this vlog for you! Located a 2.5-3.5 hour train ride from Seoul, Busan is a beautiful seaside getaway with scenic ocean views, sunrise/sunset points, aesthetic cafes, bars and so much good food! Along the coast, there are luxury hotels, restaurants, casinos exclusively for foreigners, and duty-free shops, and it is known as Busan's leading resort area. *BUSAN X the SKY* This is a popular observation deck at Haeundae in Busan that opened in 2020. Located along Haeundae Beach, the observation deck on the 100th floor is 411.6 meters high and offers a panoramic view of Busan's ocean, mountains, and apartment complexes. You can get a ticket on the first floor and take the elevator to the 100th floor "Observation floor". There is an art gallery right after getting off the elevator, and if you go further you can see the view to the west. You can also see the beach of Haeundae, Gwangan Bridge, also known as Busan's Diamond Bridge, and the high-rise apartment complexes of Marine City. There is a passage called "Shocking Bridge" where the floor beneath your feet is made of glass. Starbucks, which is said to located on the highest floor in the world, is located on the 99th floor, and after getting down to the 98th floor, you have to climb the stairs to enter. *Haeundae Traditional Market* There is a traditional market street with small shops near Haeundae Beach in Busan, one of Korea's most famous beaches. It is said that it was formed as a gathering of street vendors in the 1910s under the name ``Haeundae Traditional Market.'' In 2005, it was officially recognized as a traditional market by Busan City, and continues to this day. We are out here in Busan with my family, that I haven't seen for a while. My grandma, uncle, aunt, and of course, wifey & mama Cho. When you're in Busan, it's a MUST to eat some delicious seafood. This restaurant is next to Haeundae beach, so you already know the view is LIT. We had clam, abalone, and soup on the grill. You can also order the assorted seafood option to try out everything~ In the end, we had to say goodbye to my grandma & ended it with a bow. Haeundae Beach is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea. Often dubbed one of the country's most famous and popular beaches, it is located in the eponymous Haeundae District. The beach is open year-round, and various festivals are held there throughout the year. A popular beach event, "Polar Bear Club", during which participants bath in near freezing water, has been held annually since 1988 in January. Haeundae is closely associated with cinema, as it partly hosts the Busan International Film Festival, and was featured prominently in the 2009 disaster film Tidal Wave. Popular sights near the beach include Dongbaekseom, at its west end, which is a popular fishing area. Oryukdo, a group of small islets east of the beach, which are considered a symbol of Busan. The neighborhood surrounding Haeundae is home to most of Busan's expatriate population. Due to its fame, Haeundae is one of the most expensive areas in South Korea, and the most expensive outside of the Seoul Capital Area.
